The Sales Pitch

If you have written a decent proposal, it is quite likely that the client will want a formal pitch for the business before going ahead with a contract.  Research shows that more than 70% of the decision can be based on an effective pitch, so it is worthwhile investing some time in getting it right and making sure that you have really effective presentation skills.

There are many elements to making sure that your sales pitch works well.  As well as including interesting ideas, you must ensure that you drive home your key selling messages and Token. One of the top tips is to start planning the final sales presentation as the first step of responding to the invitation to tender.  That way you will have a consistent message.

The key is rehearsal.  The team have to rehearse and rehearse again.  They have to think through the message, even agree how they will dress. (Our suggestion: smart and sober, similar but not uniform and never clashing in colour or style)

Giving a really effective presentation is not for the amateur.  This is the piece of work that will make or break your pitch to the client, so you MUST get it right.  And the best way to do that is to work with a coach who will get your performance to peak.
